SLIQ Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all SLIQ memberships, class packs, Private Coaching sessions and other services provided by SLIQ. By purchasing a membership or package, booking a class or session, or attending SLIQ, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Before You Arrive
• Wear comfortable activewear suitable for exercise.
• Bring a water bottle. A sweat towel is optional.
• Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled class.
• Grip socks are required for all Pilates and Yoga classes. Trainers or appropriate dance shoes must be worn for Dance classes. Grip socks or trainers may be worn for Circuit classes.
• If you are unwell or experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, please cancel your booking and attend once you have fully recovered.
• If you are pregnant, have recently been injured, have recently given birth, or have a medical condition that may affect your participation, please notify your instructor before class and contact SLIQ at info@sliq.com.au before attending.
Group Class Bookings & Cancellations
• All Group Classes must be booked in advance through the Zen Planner Member App or online.
• Bookings cancelled at least 8 hours before the scheduled class will retain the applicable Class Credit.
• Class Credits may be forfeited where you cancel less than 8 hours before your scheduled class; do not attend your booked class (no-show); or fail to cancel your booking within the applicable cancellation period.
• If an emergency arises, please contact SLIQ on 0451 381 036 as soon as possible. Exceptional circumstances may be considered at SLIQ’s discretion.
• Members arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled class start time may not be permitted to join the class where doing so would disrupt the class or compromise safety.
• Where SLIQ cancels a booked class or session, the applicable Class Credit or session will not be forfeited. SLIQ will use reasonable endeavours to provide an alternative booking or other appropriate arrangement.
Waitlist
• If a class is fully booked, you may join the waitlist.
• If a place becomes available, you may receive an email and/or app notification.
• Your booking is confirmed only once you accept the available place through the booking system.
• You are responsible for checking your booking status and ensuring that you are able to attend any class you accept from the waitlist.
Private Coaching
• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a Private Coaching session.
• Sessions may be forfeited where you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice; do not attend your scheduled appointment; or arrive more than 10 minutes late without contacting SLIQ, and the session cannot reasonably proceed.
• Emergency circumstances may be considered at SLIQ’s discretion.
• If SLIQ or the assigned instructor cancels a scheduled session or is unable to provide the session, the session will not be forfeited and will be rescheduled or the applicable package expiry date extended, as reasonably required.
• Private Coaching packages are non-transferable.
• Private Coaching packages are non-refundable, except where a refund or other remedy is required under the Australian Consumer Law.
• By purchasing a Private Coaching package, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these SLIQ Policy, Terms & Conditions.
Memberships
• Memberships are non-transferable.
• Memberships have a minimum term of one (1) month from the date of purchase.
• After the minimum term has been completed, memberships continue on a rolling basis until you provide written notice to modify or cancel your membership.
• Once the minimum term has been completed, 48 hours’ written notice is required before your next scheduled payment to cancel or make changes to your membership.
• Memberships may be paused by providing at least 48 hours’ written notice via email or text before your next scheduled payment.
• Memberships may be paused for up to four (4) weeks within any rolling 12-month period.
• Longer membership pauses may be approved for medical reasons upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.
• Any cancellation, pause or membership change is subject to these Terms & Conditions and any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Studio Policies
• Please sanitise your hands before class where appropriate and wipe down equipment after use.
• Class sizes are limited to support a safe and high-quality experience. Bookings are essential.
• Expiry dates apply to Class Packs and Private Coaching packages and will not be extended except where approved by SLIQ or where required by law.
• Class timetables, instructors, operating hours and class offerings may change from time to time.
• SLIQ may update its pricing and membership offerings from time to time. Current pricing and membership details will be displayed at the time of purchase.
• SLIQ may make reasonable changes to its studio policies and procedures from time to time.
SLIQ Administration & Response Times
• SLIQ administrative support is available Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, excluding public holidays.
• Emails, membership enquiries, account requests and other administrative matters received during these hours will be responded to as soon as reasonably practicable by the SLIQ administration team.
• Messages received outside these hours will be responded to during the next available administration period.
• Response times may vary depending on the nature and complexity of the enquiry.
• Class bookings, cancellations and waitlist matters should continue to be managed through the Zen Planner Member App or online booking system where applicable.
• For urgent matters relating to a class or attendance, please contact SLIQ on 0451 381 036.
Health & Safety
• You should only participate in physical activity where you consider it safe to do so. If you have any concerns about your health or ability to exercise safely, you should seek advice from your GP or an appropriately qualified health professional before participating.
• You are responsible for informing SLIQ of any condition, injury, pregnancy or other circumstance that may affect your ability to safely participate.
• Postnatal members should only return to Group Classes after receiving appropriate medical clearance.
• Members recovering from a Caesarean section should obtain clearance from their treating medical practitioner before returning to standard Group Classes.
Children
• Children under 16 years of age must be supervised by a parent or guardian unless attending an authorised SLIQ class or program with parent or guardian consent.
Personal Belongings
• Members are responsible for their own personal belongings.
• To the extent permitted by law, SLIQ is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings brought onto the premises, except where caused by SLIQ’s negligence or otherwise required by law.
Payments & Refunds
• Memberships, Class Packs and Private Coaching sessions must be paid for in accordance with the applicable payment terms before participation, unless otherwise agreed by SLIQ.
• Payments are non-refundable except where a refund or other remedy is required under the Australian Consumer Law.
• Unused memberships, coaching sessions and Class Credits are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable, except where otherwise required by law.
• Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
Privacy
SLIQ respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Personal information may be collected and used for providing SLIQ services, managing memberships and bookings, processing payments, communicating with members, maintaining studio records and meeting legal obligations. SLIQ will only disclose personal information to third parties where reasonably required to provide its services, operate its business, meet legal obligations, or otherwise with your consent or as permitted by law.
Photography & CCTV
• CCTV may operate throughout the studio for the safety and security of members, staff and visitors.
• From time to time, SLIQ may take photographs or videos for promotional or marketing purposes.
• If you do not wish to appear in promotional material, please notify a staff member before your class or contact SLIQ.
• SLIQ will take reasonable steps to respect such requests, subject to any applicable legal requirements.
Participation & Liability
Participation in physical exercise involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury. By attending SLIQ, you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily participate in classes and activities. To the extent permitted by law, SLIQ is not liable for loss or damage arising from participation in classes or use of the studio where that loss or damage is caused by circumstances outside SLIQ’s reasonable control or is otherwise lawfully excluded. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law. Where ambulance or other emergency medical services are required, any applicable costs may be payable by the member, except to the extent those costs arise from SLIQ’s negligence or where otherwise required by law.
Membership Changes
SLIQ may amend membership pricing, class timetables, instructors, operating hours, studio policies and these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Current pricing and membership details will be provided at the time of purchase. Where a change materially affects an existing membership, SLIQ will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect, where practicable. Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
Studio Closures
Where classes cannot operate due to circumstances beyond SLIQ’s reasonable control, including power outages, natural disasters, government directions, emergencies or other events outside SLIQ’s reasonable control, SLIQ will use reasonable endeavours to provide alternative arrangements where practicable. Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a membership, Class Pack or Private Coaching package, booking a class or session, or attending SLIQ, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these SLIQ Policy, Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions apply together with any specific terms disclosed to you at the time of purchase or booking. Where there is an inconsistency, any applicable mandatory rights or protections under Australian law will prevail.
